A shower where your tub was
The old tub comes out and a shower goes in, in the same space. No walls move.
A standard tub opening is 60 inches long. Most of the time we keep the drain where it is, which keeps the price down and the schedule short. You choose acrylic walls, which go in fast, or tile, which gives you more choice of color and pattern.
What is included
Tub, surround and old wall material hauled away
New walls and a slip-resistant base with a low step
New valve, shower head and drain
Clean-up every evening

What changes the cost
Your price is for your bathroom. These are the things that move it.
Acrylic or tile
Acrylic is quicker and costs less. Tile takes longer and costs more, and you choose the color and the pattern.
Where the drain is
Houses here sit on a concrete slab. Keeping the drain where it is costs less than cutting the slab to move it.
What is behind the old wall
If there is rot or an old leak, we stop and show you a photo. The repair is priced in writing before we go on.
Glass or curtain
A glass door or panel adds to the total. A curtain rod does not.

Questions about this job
Will the shower be smaller than my tub?
It uses the same space, so it is about as wide and as long as the tub was. We can add a niche or a seat inside it.
Can I keep my tub for the grandchildren?
We only convert tubs to showers. If you want to keep a tub, a second bathroom is the place for it.
Do I need to choose tile before the quote?
No. The quote lists an allowance for tile, and you choose with us afterward. A tile that costs more changes the price, and we tell you before you decide.
Ready to swap the tub?
Send a few details or a photo, and we'll set a time to see your bathroom.
